The Peated Collection

Bladnoch, But smoky

The annual peat production takes place at Bladnoch Distillery once a year in October. This year, Alinta (previously the only peated expression by Bladnoch) is joined by four new peated whiskies to create a collection for those who love a dram with some fire!

'Alinta', an indigenous Australian word from several Southeast Australian language groups means 'fire' and 'flames', and evokes the notes of Campfire Embers found in each sip.

The Peated Collection is a celebration of Bladnoch's innovation and approach to whisky making. Allowing us to cater for a different audience and shine a light on the Lowlands region. Released from exceptionally rare 2009 stocks, the new expressions include:

- Alinta Reserve matured in 100% first fill Amontillado Sherry Hogshead casks.
- 3 x Single cask matured in Rum, Bourbon and Sherry Hogshead casks.
