The annual peat production takes place at Bladnoch Distillery once a year in October.  In 2023, Bladnoch released four new peated whiskies, for those who love a dram with some fire!  Joining Alinta, Bladnoch's first peated whisky to create the Peated Collection.

'Alinta', an indigenous Australian word from several Southeast Australian language groups means 'fire' and 'flames', and evokes the notes of Campfire Embers found in each sip.

The Peated Collection is a celebration of Bladnoch's innovation and approach to whisky making. Allowing us to cater for a different audience and shine a light on the Lowlands region. Released from exceptionally rare 2009 stocks, the new expressions include:

PX Sherry and Bourbon matured | 47% ABV

Alinta Reserve, Batch Release

Amontillado Sherry Hogshead matured | 46.7% ABV

Peated Single Cask 01

Rum Cask matured | 54.1% ABV
Distilled in 2009 | 231 bottles

Peated Single Cask 02

Sherry Hogshead matured | 58.3% ABV
Distilled in 2009 | 262 bottles

Peated Single Cask 03

Bourbon Barrel matured | 55.9% ABV
Distilled in 2009 | 148 bottles
